My photography journey started in art school after a brief detour in chemistry (spoiler alert: it wasn’t my thing). From those darkroom days surrounded by fixer and developer, I discovered the art of storytelling through the lens. Fast forward to graduation, where I was greeted with the classic, “Good luck—hope you figure it out” speech. Challenge accepted.
Building my photography business in Brooklyn, NY, and Washington, DC, taught me how to embrace both creativity and practicality. Perfectly posed, over-edited images just don’t cut it.
