Halloween Party and Small Animal Petting Zoo
This heartwarming event took place at Goodwin Living, where residents, their families, and friends gathered for a Halloween party, celebration captured by Liz Stewart Photography, providing event photographers in Washington DC. Complete with a delightful petting zoo, games, costumes, and festive activities, of course this event created lasting memories for everyone involved.
Firstly, as residents arrived at the beautifully decorated auditorium, they were greeted with a surprise—a petting zoo filled with a baby pig, a rabbit, a goat, a duck, and a few turtles. Obviously the sight of these furry and feathery friends immediately brought smiles to the faces of the residents.
The residents took this opportunity to embrace their inner child, donning their best Halloween costumes. Undeniably, from witches and superheroes to classic movie characters, the residents’ enthusiasm was infectious.
Resident Costume Parade, Games, and Activities
Without a doubt the highlight of the event was the costume parade, where residents, their family members, and friends joined in the celebration. Decked out in their finest Halloween attire, they paraded through the hallways, showcasing their creativity and bringing smiles to everyone. The joyous atmosphere was further amplified by the presence of the petting zoo animals, adding an extra touch of magic to the festivities.
Throughout the day, a variety of games and activities kept the residents and their loved ones entertained. From pumpkin bowling to ghostly ring toss, these games fostered friendly competition and laughter. To that end, the petting zoo added an interactive element, allowing residents to interact with the animals, feeding them and reveling in their playful antics.
To further enhance the Halloween spirit, spooky music filled the air, creating a lively ambiance. The aroma of freshly popped popcorn was a delightful treat for everyone. Additionally, craft stations were set up, providing an opportunity for residents to make Halloween-themed decorations and keepsakes.
