I had the pleasure of photographing an intimate dinner party wedding that embodied the warmth and love of close-knit family. Evidently, with only 12 people in attendance, including myself, this event is a testament to the power of simplicity and what truly matters on a wedding day.

The couple, Sara and Howard, chose to celebrate their love in a way that was deeply personal and meaningful to them. The day began with a small, heartfelt ceremony at the Historic Dupont Library, a location rich with character and charm that perfectly suited the couple’s vision. Without a doubt, the library’s timeless architecture and cozy ambiance provided a stunning backdrop for their vows, making the ceremony feel both grand and intimate at the same time.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with an intimate dinner party at Rose’s Luxury. Rose’s is one of Washington, DC’s most beloved restaurants and Washingtonian 100 Very Best Restaurants 2024. Known for its eclectic menu and warm, inviting atmosphere, Rose’s Luxury was the perfect choice for Sara and Howard. What’s more, the couple’s focus on the finer details was evident in every aspect of the dinner, from the carefully selected menu to the thoughtful table settings. With this in mind, each element of the evening reflected the couple’s personalities and their connection to family.

Together with just a handful of guests, every moment felt incredibly special and personal. The close-knit family vibe was palpable. It made the day not just a wedding but a true celebration of the couple’s journey together.
