Danielle and Brad met in 2013 while working the Senate in DC. Danielle’s first impression of Brad was passionate, committed, and empathetic. They sat several feet away from each other as members of a communications team and quickly hit it off as friends. Brad’s first impression of Danielle was funny, caring, and genuine. A few months, a bottomless mimosa birthday brunch, and a romantic date to see Godzilla convince Danielle to finally leave the friend zone.

Brad asked Danielle to meet him at the Capitol after work; he said it’s for a photo on the Speaker’s Balcony overlooking the National Mall. It was a beautiful September evening and they had dinner plans later, a Friday night tradition while Brad finished law school at Georgetown University. They were in position to take the photo on the balcony when Brad surprised Danielle by bending down on one knee to propose!

They are most excited about spending every day with each other because they are best friends. Danielle and Brad are excited for the adventures ahead them and to experience them together.
