Afroz and Paul celebrate their blissful wedding day and focus on highlighting inclusivity within their families. This is a sample of their joyous wedding celebration at the Whittemore House in Washington, DC.
They invite two officiants to acknowledge all of their religious values and honor their loved ones throughout the ceremony. Both mother and father walk the groom down the aisle to his place at the front with the officiants; then both mother and father walk the bride down the aisle to meet her groom. The bride and groom make eye contact with their parents just as they turn back down the aisle and recess as husband and wife.
Everyone laughs and shares joy with each other while we work our way through the post-ceremony family formal Shot List. Afroz and Paul gleefully complete all of their couple’s portraits with ease and head into cocktail hour. The remainder of the evening is filled with dancing and celebration with family and friends.
