First of all, photographing Kelsey and Jordan on their Historic, Elegant Washington, DC / Alexandria, Virginia Wedding day was an absolute treat. Their love for each other is so evident, especially in their romantic bride and groom portraits!

They held their ceremony at a historic Catholic Parish in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, DC. Since its construction in 1864, the church has kept its original interior features, including its columns, wood paneling, and ceiling vaults. The National Register of Historic Places added The Immaculate Conception Church in 2003.

The couple held an elegant garden reception in the heart of the Historic District of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia at the Lee-Fendall House (located on Lee Corner, at the intersection of North Washington and Oronoco Streets). The American Revolutionary leader and Governor of Virginia, Henry Lee, sold this lot to his relative Philip R. Fendall in 1784. The house remained a residence for several generations, then converted into a hospital for wounded Union Army soldiers during the Civil War. The Virginia Trust for Historic Preservation eventually purchased the property and opened it as a house museum in 1974.

The bride and groom had their first dance, followed by a father–of–the–bride welcome speech and toast. All of the guests are then invited to candlelight garden dinner. The dance floor filled with friends and family as they celebrated throughout the night.
