My photography journey started in art school after I decided chem was not for me. Tons of chemicals in the darkroom, I’m basically a scientist. When my class graduated, it was one of those ‘Good luck, we don’t have jobs for you, hope you’re super talented’ kind of situations.
Um, okay. So now I need to wrestle with starting a photography business and being a ‘sell-out’ who affords groceries, or committing to a life of straight-up Picasso. Cool. I can’t win.
Curating the perfect photo and editing the sh*t out of it takes you out of your story. At that point, it’s just photos. And we’re here to make memories. Because here’s the thing about your wedding. Your love is all that matters.
